thank you for joining this newsletter.
here are a few things we want to focus on:
help kgp startups raise and build great companies
help kgp advisors advise young startups and help them grow faster
help kgp investors invest in kgpians creating legacy relationships
as we do better in all these areas, the community will rise and the leverage of the network would grow further.
we will figure out more value this newsletter can distribute down the road.
today, I want to share how we got to today.
stories are powerful and this better be in history of kgp.
a few weeks ago, there was an idea floated by Subhendu in one of the kgp founders/vc group to create a physical space in bangalore for kgpians.
that idea got a few of us excited who joined the 1st call.
as you know, the journey from an idea to execution is hard.
we have brainstormed enough and executed a few things.
one is our website kgp.community that’s currently in the user feedback phase.
we are figuring out what value can be created via a physical space in bangalore for kgpians. and how much kgpians would be willing to pay for it to make it sustainable. [if you would like to share your 2 cents, we are all ears]
the other executed item is this newsletter. thanks for being the 1st reader of our latest product kgp 2.2 - kgp connect.
as I finish this post, I want to thank all the people who got us to this place.
jugal for coming to sf and pitching this kgp 2.2 villa idea to 120+ kgpians. words are powerful, they do bring some accountability by itself.
subhendu for the courage to post on the whatsapp group. a lot of ideas die because they aren’t even shared with the right audience.
drishti for continuously pushing the momentum forward and holding us to better standards
ayush for taking ownership of communication and minutes
ritik for helping lead the bangalore meetup and bringing kgpians together.
siddharth for all designs and thinking through the website
abinash for all the web design work
saurya for legal/ca support
our latest addition akshay - we had a 3 hrs call on all things kgp yesterday.
and sudarshan, gb, asad and many others for moral support.
we will keep this newsletter going to support the growing momentum among kgpians to help each other
all ideas are welcome.
bye for now.
I have a post on resources for kgpians around the world on my radar as next item.
